About

I teach the subject, and I build the systems.

I am a secondary school Mathematics and Physics educator with a classroom record across several respected Liberian institutions, combined with hands-on software development experience.

Most teachers who talk about technology stop at using it. I built ROTHANA — a full school management system now in daily use at William Gabriel Kpoleh Memorial High School, where I also teach Grade 12 Mathematics. It handles grading, enrollment and administration across five distinct user roles. That combination is the point: I understand school administration because I work inside it, and I can build the software to fix it.

I design curriculum-aligned lesson notes, examinations and assessments that build genuine understanding rather than rote recall, and I teach Database Administration on Microsoft SQL Server at Afriktech Solution Institute of Technology. I am currently advancing dual undergraduate studies — Mathematics and Physics at the University of Liberia, and Computer Science at the University of the People.

  1. Mathematics Teacher, Grade 12

    William Gabriel Kpoleh Memorial High School

    Monrovia, Liberia 2022 – Present

    • Deliver structured Mathematics instruction to Grade 12 students, building problem-solving and quantitative reasoning ahead of senior certificate examinations.
    • Design and produce curriculum-aligned lesson notes, examinations and study materials across Mathematics and related Computer Studies topics.
    • Digitised and reformatted handwritten student grade sheets into structured, professionally branded records, improving the accuracy and accessibility of academic data.
    • Designed, developed and deployed ROTHANA, a full School Management System for the institution, streamlining grading, enrollment and administrative workflows across multiple user roles.

    • Teach Database Administration with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server, covering database design, T-SQL, security, backup and recovery, and performance fundamentals.

ROTHANA — School Management System

A full-stack school management system built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript on a Supabase backend, now in active daily use. It supports five distinct user roles — Administrator, Registrar, Teacher, Student and Parent — across Standard and Pro subscription tiers, and streamlines grading, enrollment and administrative workflows. I have explored extending it to mobile with Ionic and Capacitor to broaden access for administrators and parents, and have presented and marketed the system to other schools.
